Delphia Irene Adair, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026. She was born July 11, 1931, to Albert Calvin Cox and Mary Pearl Jumper Cox, both preceding her in death.

She grew up in Olney Springs and Crowley, Colorado, and graduated from Olney Springs High School. On November 8, 1947, she married John Elsworth Adair, sharing 52 years of marriage until his passing in 1999.

Delphia worked in many roles throughout her life, including Van Dyke Insurance, grocery stores in Olney Springs, the Tomato Factory in Fowler, and later co-owned Adair Mobile Home Transport, a family-run business based in Texas.

Delphia is survived by her children Mary Mann (Jess, deceased) of Colorado, Raymond Adair of Colorado, and Bruce Adair (Nola, deceased) of Edinburg, Texas. She was preceded in death by daughters Agnes Lusk and Nora Adair. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Ethel, Raymond, Bill, BD and Tootsie, Gene and Mildred, Haze and Lydia, Neva and Jimmy, and Lester and Bertha.

Delphia is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Marcia Manchego (Juan), Penelope Herrera (John), OJ Mann, Delphia Mann, and Erica Adair-Moore (Johnny); along with nine great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild expected in February.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family.
