Don Weber Vickroy

Don Weber Vickroy, 76, passed away on May 26, 2024 at his La Junta home. He was born on Aug 18, 1947 to Matt & Susan Olla Josephine (Smith) Vickroy. He was married to Martha Marita Monroe Vickroy who also passed away tragically at home with Don.

Don graduated from Otero Junior College with a degree in nursing. He worked at the VA Hospital in Ft. Lyon, CO. He had a passion for the South country (Cedar) and was a wealth of knowledge on the area. He was generous with his time and he and his wife Marita were always caring about someone else. They had a love of travel and a love of cats. they will be missed.

Memorial Service held on Sunday, May 4th at 3:00 p.m. at Arkansas Valley Seventh- Day Adventist Chruch in Swink, Colorado. Service will be officiated by Pastor Ted Williams of Arkansas Valley Seventh- Day Church. Finger food reception to follow.
