Elfido “Lee” Jaramillo, 69, of La Junta, Colorado passed away Monday, October 5, 2026, in La Junta. He was born Friday, January 25, 1957, in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Emillio & Josie (Sandoval) Jaramillo.
Lee is survived by wife Kathy Torrez; children, Tony Torrez, and Crystal Torrez; grandchildren, Qiana Torrez, Marcus Torrez, Savannah Rael, Nicole Whatley, and Anthony Torrez; great-grandchildren, Marcus Torrez, Jr. and Jaxson Torrez; siblings, Merlinda Jaramillo, Larry Jaramillo, Nick Jaramillo, Felix Jaramillo, Frankie Jaramillo, and Alfonso Jaramillo; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends also survive. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emillio & Josie Jaramillo; brothers, Alex Jaramillo, Jacob Jaramillo, Raymond Jaramillo, and Emillio Jaramillo, Jr.; sister-in-law, Rose Jaramillo.
Memorial Service for Lee will be held Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel in La Junta.
