Frances Elaine Lay

Frances Elaine Lay, 89, passed away on April 10, 2018 at the St. Mary Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo. She was born on July 28, 1928 in Gorin, MO to Roy & Katherine (Guiles) Kraus. She married Kenneth Lay on August 15, 1948 in Keokuk, Iowa; he preceded her in death.

She enjoyed reading, flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis (Keith) Brisendine of Pueblo; Dena (Dan) Morgan of Pueblo; grandchildren, Brenda (Joshua) Bollacker, Matthew Morgan, Ashley Morgan, and Heather Morgan; great-grandchildren, Micaly Davalos, Morgan Bollacker, Matyson Bollacker, Braden Morgan, and Tori (Michael) Ghan; sister, Janis (Byron) Grimes; and numerous nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Lay, grandson, Brett Brisendine, and four brothers.

Per Elaine’s request there will be no services.
