Francisca Antonita Vasquez

Francisca “Triscilla” Vasquez, 77, of La Junta, Colorado passed away at home on September 22, 2026. She was born on February 20, 1949, in La Junta, Colorado to Samuel & Romona (Aguilar) Vasquez. Francisca married Pompeyo Vasquez, he preceded in her death.

Family would describe Francisca as being a loving and caring person. She was kind to others and loved animals. On her free time, she enjoyed reading and watching The Rifleman tv show. Francisca enjoyed cooking and loved to cook for her friends and family.

Francisca is survived by her sons, Mark Lovato & Cory Lovato; grandchildren, Mark Gabe Lovato, Tiera Garcia & Lenea Garcia; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra (Nick) Ortiz: numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Francisca is preceded in death by her husband, Pompeyo Vasquez, her parents, Samuel & Romona Vasquez, siblings, Steven Lovato; Oliver Lovato; Henry Lovato; Freddie Aguilar & Ina Armijo.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe/ St. Patrick Parish Church. The mass of Christian burial will be on September 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe/ St. Patrick Parish Church with Father…. Officiating. Burial to follow at Calvary cemetery.
