George Sanchez

George Sanchez, 86, passed away on March 11, 2022, at the Pioneer Heath Care Center in Rocky Ford. He was born on February 21, 1936, to Simon & Julia (LeBlanc) Sanchez. In Rocky Ford.
He is survived by his wife, Maria “Agnes” of the Rocky Ford home; children, Gil, Teresa (Kevin) McMillian, Lupe, and Christina Sanchez; grandchildren, Mario (Crissie Valencia) Jimenez, Kristy (Zack Griffith) Jimenez, Jacob Sanchez, Gabby Sisneros, and Gabe Sisneros; great-grandchildren, Da’Andre Jimenez, Danavyn Jimenez, Brooklyn Jimenez, Izeah Escobedo, Dejah Escobedo, Malia Sanchez; and four great, great-grandchildren also survive, sister, Susie Gomez, and his aunt, Jessie Lopez. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Betty Montoya and Estella Burciago.
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. the Rocky Ford Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the West Assembly of God Church in Fowler with Reverend Darryl Johnson officiating.
