Henry Fulford Cowell, Jr.

In loving Memory of Henry Fulford Cowell, Jr., 78, passed away on August 26, 2021 at the Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care in Colorado Springs. He was born on September 9, 1942 to Henry & Elaine (Marks) Cowell, Sr. in Phillipsburg, PA.

Henry dedicated his life to public service with the Knights of Columbus. He was a loyal member for 36 years. He served as secretary and was active in other church activities. Henry served in Lions for 45 years. During that time he earned 3 Melvin Jones humanitarian awards in addition to many other honors and awards.

Henry served as District Governor for Southeastern Colorado from 2010-2011. He held many club offices and participated in many club activities and service projects both in Delaware and Colorado.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia, father of Henry Cowell, III, Tracy, Connie, Tina, Tammy, Terri, Kevin and Kenny; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Henry will be greatly missed by his family, his many friends and his beloved cats.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Victor Raj officiating.
