Jack Curtis Goode

Jack Curtis Goode, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April, 16th 2015 at the age of 87.

Born on October 5, 1937, to Jack and Fairy Goode, Jack grew up in Kim, Colorado, where he learned the values of hard work, loyalty, and love for the land. On September 15, 1958, he married the love of his life, Angialea, and together they shared a lifetime of devotion, adventure, and enduring love.

Jack and Angie raised four children: Clell (the late Kimberly) Goode, Albert (Jamie) Goode, Shane (Brenda) Goode, and Kristine (Marcos) Lozano. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, Kenton Goode (Casey), AJ Jones, Craig Goode, (Katie), Kellen Goode (Emily), Courtney Goode, Tori, (Sean) Benke, Sidney Goode, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Jack is also survived by his siblings: Nancy Balenseifen, Gary Campion, and Rick Campion.

He was preceded in death by his father Jack Goode, mother Fairy Cooley, stepmother Loretta Goode, and brother Harry Lewis.

Jack spent his early years ranching in Colorado with his family until 1984, when he and Angie moved to Page, Arizona, where they owned and operated the local bowling alley. Over the years, they also managed hotels across Utah and Colorado before traveling the country while working with Drury Roofing Company. In 2007, they returned to settle back in Southeast Colorado, where Jack felt most at home.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, love of game shows, spirited poker games, cheering on his favorite football teams, and most of all, the deep and lasting bonds he formed with family and friends. Jack’s warmth, sense of humor, and unshakable dedication to those he loved leave behind a legacy that will live on in all who knew him.

Services will be at a later date.
