Jeanette Louise Kerr, 72, of Olney Springs, Colorado, passed away June 11, 2025, at Villa Pueblo in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born September 29, 1952, in Denver, Colorado to James & Marjorie (Bennett) McCleary.
Jeanette devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker. Her outgoing personality made her a beloved figure among friends and relatives alike.
Jeanette cherished the simple pleasures in life, often found enjoying leisurely walks or soaking in the laughter and camaraderie of family time. She had a knack for hosting parties and gatherings, where her infectious energy would light up the room. Each event was an opportunity for her to share her passion for bringing people together, creating cherished memories that will last long into the future. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and community. She will be remembered fondly for her vivacity and her unwavering commitment to family and friends.
As we reflect on her life, we celebrate the joy she spread and the love she fostered. Jeanette Louise Kerr will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Jeanette is survived by her significant other of over 20 years, Remedios “Andrew” Herrera of Olney Springs, CO; children, Shotreck “Shot” Alden of Olney Springs, CO; and Nathan J. Leonardo; sister, Gayle R. McCleary. She is preceded in death by her parents; James & Marjorie McCleary; and brother, Willam McCleary.
