Jennie M. Mckampson

Jennie Marie McKampson, 101, passed away on Oct. 19, 2018 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. She was born on May 7, 1917 in Trinidad, Colorado to Ford & Essie (Carroll) Greer. She married to John McKampson, Sr; he preceeded her in death on January 17, 1973.
Jennie is survived by her son John (Helen) McKampson of Phoenix, Arizona; 6 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 32 great, great-grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Ida Ward, Scott Henline, Edith Weant, Ruth Wilkins, Clarence Greer, Pat VanMatre, Ford "Toad" Greer.
Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Dell of the First Christian Church officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in La Junta.
