Mary A. Medrano, 86, passed away on July 8, 2020 at her Rocky Ford home. She was born on March 30, 1934 to Jose Grabriel & Julianita (Maes) Torrez in Canon Largo, New Mexico.
She loved fishing, sewing and gardening. Mary is the widow of George Gutierrez and later of Antonio Medrano.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Judy (Ramon) Rios of Rocky Ford, Georgia Gutierrez of Etowah, TN and Angie (Ronnie) Dunsworth of Corona, NM; son, Anthony Gutierrez of Seattle, WA; daughter, Esperanza (Will) Teeter of Show Low, AZ; her companion, Adolfo Segura of Rocky Ford; grandchildren, Melinda (Steve) Gonzales, Anita Santana, Ramon Rios, Jr., Andrea (Jai) Mora, Beverly (Ken) Jackson, Maria (David) Gragg, Florencio Urioste, Jr., Joshua Urioste, Payton Dunsworth, Haylee Teeter, & Shyann Teeter; brother, Raymond (Gwen) Salas; sister, Mary Lopez; and brother, Clyde Salas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, great-grandson, Donald Javon Jackson, sister, Fedelina Herrera, and brother, Rufino Torrez.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rocky Ford Cemetery with Father Henry Wertin of Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish officiating.
