Mary Marjorie Wooten was called to her eternal home on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Pioneer Healthcare Center in Rocky Ford, Colorado at the age of 92.
Marjorie was born in Kansas City, MO on February 15, 1929 to Raymond and Bertha Gravatt. She married the love of her life, Reverend Eddie Wooten on March 14, 1946 in Olathe, Kansas.
Marjorie was a homemaker and worked for Avon and Christmas Around the World for many years. Her faith was a significant part of her life. She spent most of her life mentoring young Christians and brought countless people to the Lord.
Marjorie is survived by her children Jack Wooten, Diana (Todd) Linville as well as her brother Eugene Gravatt of Scottsdale, AZ and long time friend and caregiver, Phileana Brown. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Marsha (Shannon) Crain, Cyndi (TJ) Martinez, Carole (Josh) Becker, Patty (Jeremiah Siddoway) Blue, Eddie Blue and Tabitha (Will Banister) Blue and eight great grandchildren; Lily Becker, Malorie Becker, Amelyah Crain, Tommy Martinez, Renton Siddoway, Rexton Crain, Olivia Martinez and Mayumi Banister.
Marjorie was greeted in heaven by her parents, loving husband and siblings; Paul Gravatt, Ralph Gravatt, Helen Barnes and Beatrice Duffield.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pastor Aaron Lockhart of the First Baptist Church of Rocky Ford. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in La Junta.
