Patricia Irene Foxhoven, 84, of Cheraw CO, was born on October 9, 1941, to Vernon E. and Dortha June (Talbott) Pyle in Sterling Colorado. Patricia “Pat”, “Pattie”, a devoted wife, mother, sister, cherished grandmother and beloved friend passed away peacefully January 3, 2026.

Pat grew up in Logan County, Colorado, helping on the family farm along with her 5 other siblings. She attended Iliff High School, class of 1959, where she was active in softball and marching band, serving as drum majorette. In 1961 she married James J. Foxhoven of Sterling, Colorado. To this union of 65 years, three sons were born: Michael, James, Jr, and Randall.

Pat was active with her children, helping with 4-H projects, school projects, Little Britches Rodeos, and was a Cub Scout Den Mother as well. In 1972 they bought a farm in Cheraw, Colorado. She worked hard to keep the household running: milking cows, gardening, doing the accounting for the farm & trucking company, and even stacking alfalfa hay bales.

Pat also loved bowling, which she played in a league for many years in La Junta, and traveled to many tournaments around the country. She also supported her husband's horse racing hobby. Together Pat & James traveled around the horse racing circuit having fun and making unforgettable memories. Pat was also an avid Denver Broncos fan and loved cheering them on.

She leaves behind her beloved husband James Foxhoven of Cheraw; sons, Michael (Samantha) Foxhoven of Auburn, KS; James, Jr. (Pam) Foxhoven of Cheraw; Randall (Jennifer) Foxhoven of Cheraw; sister, Wilma Korbe (Paul); brothers, Richard Pyle and Thomas Pyle (Shirley); 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon & Dortha June Pyle; sisters, Eleanor Greene and Beverly Bader.
