Paul F. Gonzales

Paul F. Gonzales, 83, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2022, at his La Junta Home. He was born on October 26, 1938, in Watuors, New Mexico to Manuel S. & Mary Ursula (Martinez) Gonzales.

Paul attended Swink School and was a self-educated man. He managed Montini Feedlot, worked at Nibco and Paul’s Tree Service. He was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish and the Caballero Club.

He is survived by his wife, Aurelia of the La Junta family home; his son, Paul A. Gonzales, and his daughter Nancy (Rod) Davidson; ten grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great, great-grandchild; a brother; two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Monday, May 2, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Joseph Matitu officiating. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta.
