Phil Ballard

Phil Ballard, 91, lifelong rancher of the Villegreen & Kim area, rode off to greener pastures on August 15, 2025, at his La Junta home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 22, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri to Paul & Fronzo (Trantham) Ballard.

Phil will be greatly missed by sons, Jeff (Jeanne) & Eric (Emily); grandsons, Dan, Doug, Raylen & Lincoln; son, Dean; & grandchildren, Misti & Franklin. Phil will also be missed by sister-in-law, Nancye Ballard; nieces, Rosalind, Natalie (Mateo) & their son Desmond, La Netta & Sandie; nephew, Randy & extended family & friends.

Phil is predeceased by Jeanie Ballard; parents, Paul & Fronzo Ballard; brother, Jim Ballard & sister Evelyn Fisher.

Per Phil's request - no Memorial services are planned.
