Priscilla Sandra Chacon

Priscilla Sandra Chacon, 59, lifetime La Junta resident, passed away Dec. 31, 2011, at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center.  She was born on Jun. 21, 1952 in La Junta to Joe & Ruth (Valdez) Sandoval.

She is survived by her husband, Ramon Chacon of the La Junta family home; daughters, Jean (Charley) Zuendel of Colorado Springs, Stephanie (Ken) Powell of Denver, and Michelle (Richard) Campos, Jr. of La Junta; grandchildren, Cameo & Christian Campos; sister, Thelma Arellano and a brother Andrew Sandoval.  Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Ruth Sandoval, her beloved son, Anthony Chacon, sister, Ruby Soto, and grandchildren McKenzie and Madison Zuendel.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m.  Both services will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Alphonsus Ihuoma officiating.  Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
