Raymond Sabino Hernandez

Raymond Sabino Hernandez, 72 of La Junta passed away on March 24, 2018 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo. He was born on December 30, 1945 in La Junta to Marciano & Guadalupe (Guerrero) Hernandez.

He was survived by his wife, Amelia Hernandez of the La Junta home; children, Arturo (Charlene) Hernandez of La Junta; Herman Hernandez of La Junta; Raul (Sofia) Hernandez of Bossier City. LA; Isela (Humberto Orozco) Hernandez of La Junta; David Hernandez of La Junta; Christian (Nicole) Hernandez of Rio Rancho, NM; siblings, Vincent (Molly) Hernandez of La Junta; Suzie (Bub) Netherlin of Ulysses, KS; Patty Saenz of San Jose, CA; Paul (Alvina) Hernandez of San Jose, CA; numerous nieces & nephews and grandchildren; two great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and one sister.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Henry Wertin officiating. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 27, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
