Robert M. Plank, 74, of Waynesboro, Virginia and formerly of Cheraw, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at his Virginia home. He was born on August 18, 1938 to Walter S. & Anna Ruby (Palmer) Plank, Sr. in Cheraw, Colorado.
Robert moved from Cheraw to Waynesboro, Virginia in 1986.
He is survived by his brother, Wallace (Imogene) Plank of Cheraw; nieces, Angie (Steve) Swedhin of Cheraw; Diane (John) Fazekas of Colorado Springs; Debbie (Bill) Pilgrim of Holcomb, KS; nephew, Bruce Schulz; great-niece, Bethany Swedhin; great-nephews, Hunter Swedhin, Tyler & Dylan Fazekas. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rosine Ladd; brother, Walter Plank and infant brother.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the East Holbrook Mennonite Church in Cheraw with Pastor John Stoltzfus officiating.
