Ronald L. Honaker
October 16, 1932 — April 1, 2014
Ronald L. Honaker, 81, of La Junta passed away on April 1, 2014 at the Bent County Memorial Nursing Home in Las Animas. He was born on October 16, 1932 in Weston, MO to Arthur W. & Mary Dorothy (Beck) Honaker.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 62 years, Donna of the Cheraw home; children, Rhonda McClain of Topeka, Kansas; Donn Honaker of Mason City, Iowa; John Honaker of Cheraw; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Karlan (Irene) Honaker of Topeka, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ft. Lyon National Cemetery with Reverend Cliff Kornmueller officiating in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
