Ronald Roy Skorick

Ronald Roy Skorick was born on March 15th, 1944 in Velva, North Dakota to John and Stacia Skorick and passed from this life on June 12, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Stacia Skorick; brothers, Glenn, Paul, Raymond and Rollie; sisters, Ruth Skorick and Ethel Plesuk; and grandsons, Alexander Skorick and Isaac Pipkin. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda (Root), sons Mark (Maryolie Abascal), Timothy, Nathan (Lori Dooley) and daughter Sara (Jason) Pipkin, and eleven grandchildren: Maksim, Mateo and Mila Skorick, (children of Mark and Maryolie Skorick); Nikolai, Geneva and Viktor Skorick (children of Timothy and his dearly departed wife, Staci Skorick);Ethan, Joshua and Zachary Skorick, (sons of Nathan and Lori Skorick); and Hallie and Asher Pipkin, (children of Sara and Jason Pipkin).

He leaves a legacy of love and a life well lived, He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held July 15, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church of La Junta (River of Life).
