Roxie Ann Hoss

Roxie Ann Hoss, 69, of La Junta, passed away on July 27, 2019 at UCHealth Memorial Central Hospital in Colorado Springs. She was born on Sept 12, 1949 in Goodland, Kansas to Don Carlos & Ileene Marie (Bricker) Hoover.

On June 27, 1965, she and Ronnie Hoss were married at Sharon Springs, Kansas. In 1966 they moved to La Junta, Colorado, where they raised three sons. She had retired from Colorado East Bank & Trust, where she had been a loan clerk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ileene and Don Hoover, and her sister, Sherry Hoss.

Roxie is survived by her husband, Ronnie Hoss of the La Junta home; sons, Chad (Sandra) Hoss of Lakeside, California, Don Wayne Hoss of La Junta, and Quincy (Leanne Ouellette) Hoss of San Diego, California; grandson, Cody (Gabby) Hoss of Lakeside; brother-in-law, Donnie Hoss of Sheron Springs; brother, Roger (Missy) Hoover of Rocky Ford, Colorado; niece, Angie (Brian Raney) Hoss of Lakin, Kansas; nephews, Jeremy (Carrie) Miles of Salina, Kansas and Jericho (Amanda) Hoover of Salina; and many great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the La Junta Kids Rodeo, P.O. Box 155, La Junta, CO, 81050 direct or through the funeral home.
