Ruben Guadalupe Rodriguez Robles

Ruben Guadalupe Rodriguez Robles, 16, of La Junta passed away unexpectedly due to a car accident on January 20, 2022, in Cheraw. He was born on December 10, 2005, to Daniel Rodriguez & Carolina Robles in La Junta.

Ruben loved to work with his dad, loved playing football, wrestling, listening to Spanish music, going to the gym, collecting hats and boots. He loved his horse, Indio and his dog, Leo. He loved working on his truck. In class he always mentioned he loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel Rodriguez & Carolina Robles; brothers, Daniel & Carlos Rodriguez; sister, Laura Hernandez; friend, Karina Marquez; several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins also survive; grandparents, Marcelino Rodriguez & Juana Vazquez and Gertrudis Jocobi all of Sinaloa, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jesus Robles.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Victor Raj officiating. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
