Ruby Ellen Hoepner
February 13, 1920 — November 10, 2017
Ruby Hoepner, 97, of Rocky Ford, passed away on Nov. 10, 2017 at Pioneer Heath Care Center. She was born on Feb. 13, 1920 to Earl S. & Hallie (McCarty) Moorhead in Jamesport, Missouri. She married Fred Blecha on April 19, 1944; he passed away in 1970. She married Hienie Hoepner on July 19, 1974; he preceded her in death in 1998.
She is survived by her niece, Virginia Kehn of Rocky Ford; great-niece, Sandra Kehn and great-nephews, Ronald and Edward Kehn. Numerous additional nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter, three sisters and a brother.
A graveside inurnment will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hugo, Colorado with Reverend John Dell of the First Christian Church of Rocky Ford officiating.
