Shane Nelson Baylor

Shane Nelson Baylor, 13, passed away on February 16, 2019 surrounded by his family from a childhood illness at his grandparents’ home in Manzanola. He was born on March 24, 2005 in Pueblo, Colorado.

Shane was able to attend school for a short time in Ordway at Kids Campus & Crowley County Elementary. Shane will always be remembered by his family as a true blessing.

He is survived by his parents, Craig (Shay) Baylor of Fowler; siblings, Caiden & Courtnee Baylor; grandparents, Ken (Kris) Baylor of Manzanola; uncle’s, Cody (Nicole) Baylor of Ordway; Nathan (Hope Holder) Baylor of Manzanola; aunt, Nicole (D.J. Pruett) Baylor of Manzanola; six cousins also survive.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. at the River of Life Fellowship in Ordway with Pastor Jeb Brown officiating.

Those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice – East Branch, 26678 Frontage Road, La Junta, CO 81050 direct or through the funeral home.
