Shirley Elaine Griffin

Shirley Elaine Griffin, 90, of La Junta passed away on February 14, 2018 at the Crowley County Nursing Home. She was born on May 23, 1927 to James Edwin & Florence G. (Loomis) Hall in Cheraw, CO.

She is survived by her children, Cathy Burnett of Dumas, TX; Joy (Terry) Peterson of Colorado Springs, CO; Margaret “Peggy” (Walt “Butch”) Black of Lakewood, CO; Robert “Bob” Griffin of La Junta, CO; siblings, Ben (Sue) Hall, Jerre (Marida) Hall, Pat Wren all of La Junta, CO; John (Betty) Hall of San Diego, CA; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Linda Griffin and Becky Atkinson; brothers, Jim & Tom Hall and sister, Betty Stephens.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery with Reverend Lou Ward of the United Methodist Church officiating.
