Stinson J.W. Daniels

Stinson J.W. Daniels, 25, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 2, 2012 at his La Junta, Colorado home.  He was born to Jacqueline Walraven & Jay Daniels on July 9, 1987 in La Junta.  J.W. was a member of a gun club and participated in bowling leagues.

He is survived by his father Jay Daniels of La Junta; his mother, Jacqueline Walraven of Pueblo, CO; grandmother, Lela Daniels of Roswell, NM; sisters, Heather Daniels of Pueblo and Katlynn Griffee of La Junta; nieces, Bethannie & Keyonnah Daniels; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather Stinson Martin Daniels.

A memorial fund has been set up at the First National Bank of La Junta. Memorial donations in J.W.'s name may be made direct or through the funeral home

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.


A memorial service will be Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.  Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Ft. Sumner Cemetery in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico.
