Terry L. Hollis, 74, of Swink, Colorado passed away on May 22, 2026, at his Swink Home. He was born on July 29, 1951, in Jacksonville, Florida to Earl and Gwen (Crane) Hollis. Terry was one of five boys. Terry grew up in a military household always traveling from state to state and country to country.
Terry enlisted and served in in the United States Navy, proudly serving his country. Then after his working career he retired and settled down in Swink, Colorado. He loved watching and playing golf. Terry also enjoyed a good fishing trip.
Terry is survived by his children, Sandra Finney of Swink, Colorado, Denise (Aaron) Goodwin of Swink, Colorado and Daniel Hollis of Bath, South Dakota; grandchildren, Katelyn (Cole) Smith of La Junta, Colorado, Tabitha (Seth) Sebastain of La Junta, Colorado, Linsey (J.T.) Reed of La Junta, Colorado, Cody Goodwin of Swink, Colorado, Jolyn Goodwin of Swink, Colorado, Nevaeh, Silas and Oliver Hollis of South Dakota; two great- grandchildren; siblings, twin-brother, Gary (Linda) Hollis of La Junta, Colorado, Bob (Mary) Hollis of Oklahoma, and Ken Hollis of Scottsdale, Arizona; close friend & caretaker, Mike Mondragon, beloved dog & loyal companion, Smidgen; numerous extended family of aunts, uncles & cousins also survive. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Gwen Hollis and his brother, Randy Hollis.
Per family request, Terry has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Faith Community Church of Swink. (428 Powars Ave.; Swink, Colorado)
