Thomas Warren Trumble, 63, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2022 at his La Junta home. He was born on April 6, 1958 in La Junta to Herbert Q. and Flora Bell (Dickson) Trumble. Tom married Vickie Velez on Sept. 23, 1998 in Rocky Ford.
Tom attended La Junta High School, graduating in 1976. He held a CRTT in Respiratory Therapy and a CAC II in Drug and Alcohol Addiction counseling. Tom worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center for several years. His last job was at RESADA where he worked as drug and alcohol addiction counselor for over ten years.
Tom is survived by his wife, Vickie Trumble of the La Junta home; sons, Jeremy (Jessica) Trumble of Albuquerque, NM, Robert Trumble of Aurora, CO, and Tyler (Santana Horak) Trumble of Pueblo, CO; step-daughters, Becky (Ronnie) Sisneros of Rocky Ford, CO and Ashlee (Colin) Anderson of Longmont, CO; grand-children, Joseph Trumble, Morris Horak-Trumble, Ayden Sisneros, Kaydence Sisneros, Harper Anderson and Evelyn Anderson; siblings, Jeannie (Don) Rizutto of La Junta, Sharon Kindred of Kansas City, MO, Ron (Amy) Trumble of Bartlesville, OK, LuAnn (Mike) Baird of Rocky Ford, Michelle Trumble and Kathy Aiken of League City, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Linda Davis.
A memorial service will be Friday, April 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rocky Ford First Christian Church with Reverend John Dell officiating.
